My name is Jason Richards, and I love analyzing the capabilities of laptops.
I’ve been working on computers for as long as I can remember, dating all the way back to building a gaming PC with my father when I was just a kid. You could call me a bit of a fanatic when it comes to laptops.
I enjoy a good PC, but laptops require so much more precision: you need to keep them lightweight, compact, cooled, and have them match or beat the specifications of modern-day PCs. That’s a challenge, and it’s one that I’ve taken to.
There’s nothing better than finding the highest quality processors and most insane graphics cards out there, and trying to make it work on a budget. I have been building and repairing laptops for years, and every single time, I find a way to make it better than it was before.
But the thing is, there’s a lot of companies and brands that realized what it takes to make a fantastic computer. There’s more choices than ever, especially for gamers. I decided to put my expertise into another realm: helping people determine what’s worth their money, and what isn’t worth their time.
You can learn a lot about a company based on its policies and production value of their laptops. I’m here to help you, regardless of your computer proficiency, determine what’s best for your needs.
Everything you need from laptop care to how-to’s is here: I’m building an archive of all my working knowledge and expertise on laptops, all for you to use as you see fit. Learn what goes into a good laptop, so you can better decide what you’ll need for the tasks ahead.
If it’s time to buy a new laptop, whether it’s for gaming, school, or general use, let me be your guide. Take as much of my experience and advice as possible, and you’ll be left with nothing short of the best laptop you’ve ever owned.
Thank you for stopping my Laptoplex; here’s a toast to the most well-informed laptop that you’ll ever purchase.
